ITP's

Concept

ITP's or Inspection Test Plans are becoming a requirement in todays environment of Quality Assurance standards. IPM ITP's provides a flexible structure that allows companies to quickly generate ITP's and then push them to site for easy completion and signoff. The concept is that Standard ITPs' are created in the Reference Data area within IPM and then on demand a collection determined by the project team can be created for a specific project.

Standard ITP's

A standard ITP consists of a ITP header that simply identifies the ITP such as "Completed Works" and then detail records outlining the items to be addressed by the ITP such as "Excavation Works - Location of Services". These detail records include testing methodology, verification methods and other pertinent details.

Creating ITP's for a Job

To create an ITP for a Job simply open the Job and navigate to the ITP section showing the related records. Click the IPM Mulit-select button to show a list of Standard ITP's and select the ones required for the current job. Using the button showing ">>" move the selected ITP's to the Right side of the dialog and wait for the new records to change colour which indicates that the creation process has completed.

Completing ITP's

ITP's life cycle is defined by the organisations own operating procedures and should be deployed using the Business Process Flow technology.

Accessing ITP's on Site

ITP's can be deployed using the Dynamics Mobile platform. This will enable the collection of substantiating photos and signatures as evidence of the verification process.
